SEAWOLF
The Company has developed a Night
Vision Goggle compatible cockpit.
Offering the maximum in operational flexibility, the required
modifications are integral to the aircraft's instrumentation and requires no
setups or adjustments, yet with this option installed, the aircraft can still
be operated night IFR without the use of NVG goggles.
All
lighted cockpit instruments, panel area lights, avionics displays and cockpit
annunciators have been modified with special instrument bezels and/or NVG
compatible filaments which allow unhindered operations of the latest NVG
goggles.
Without
the possibility of goggle shutdowns, safe low-light level operations can be
confidently conducted. The option
package also contains NVG compatible glareshield flood lighting and overhead
map/flood lights. All areas of the
cockpit contain their own light dimming controls to provide the desired blend
of light intensities for specific operations.
An
NVG compatible landing light has also been provided for low light level airport
and water operations. A second,
standard landing light is still installed for normal, nighttime
operations. However, attention has been
given to the placement of the standard landing light control to preclude
inadvertent operations while operating under NVG conditions.
With
maximum operational flexibility, your multi-mission, amphibious aircraft can be
operated under low light level conditions just with the installation of your
NVG goggles.
