FERRY TO PURCHASER'S LOCATION
The purchaser has the option of electing to ferry their
airplanes to the purchaser’s location themselves, or to employ the services of
a professional ferry company.
Because professional ferry companies conduct these flights
all over the world on a regular basis, it is conceivable they can deliver the
airplane for less cost, as they know where to buy the cheapest fuel, how to
avoid bureaucratic difficulties, where to get inexpensive maintenance,
procedures for expediting the quickest clearances and permissions, etc. (see
Insurance Requirements on Page 26). The Company can put the purchaser in
touch with several reputable ferry companies, who will submit competitive bids,
but otherwise The Company is not
involved in the aircraft delivery to the purchaser’s location, or the aircraft
can be containerized and shipped.
